If the following rumor is true, then Apple is planning to unveil a new line of MacBook Pro laptops at its Worldwide Developer's Conference in June.

A ritual by now, multiple media agencies, including Bloomberg, have once again begun the hunt over crumbs of information on new products or services Apple may feature at the renown gathering held at San Francisco's Moscone center on a yearly basis.

What is rumored about the new line of MacBook Pro laptops for now is that it will be powered by a new Intel chip--dubbed Ivy Bridge--making it faster and that it will be slimmer than its 0.95 inch-thick predecessor.

In order to achieve a slimmer body, Ars Technica is reporting that the new MacBooks will drop the "optical drive and 'legacy' FireWire and Ethernet ports". Not only those, the new devices' screens are envisioned to be upgraded to a retina display.

Changes in look, however, will not be limited to MacBook Pro laptops only. Forbes, today, published an article citing Barclays Capital analyst, Ben Reitzes, asserting on a new iPad coming for this fall.

The new iPad will be smaller in size, reportedly,  measuring 7 inches, 2.7 inches smaller than the 'New iPad (3rd generation)' Apple launched earlier this year.

Apple stocks fell $5.05, 0.9%, to $553.17 today.
