"Batman vs. Superman" is DC's first giant leap into a connected DC Cinematic Universe, and it looks like the comic giant is going all in with the first film.

As many fans already know, the film will be the first in a series of films that will eventually lead to the "Justice League" films, much like Marvel did with its "Avengers" franchise. However, a long-standing rumor has been circulating that yet another member of the Justice League will be making a short cameo in the film.

According to Screen Rant, head costume designer Michael Wilkinson might have confirmed that the Flash may make a small appearance in "Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice" while he was talking about the process of making the costumes for the DC Comics Cinematic Universe.

Comic Book Resources reports that while Wilkinson cannot go into details about the future of the films, he does confirm that viewers will get a glimpse of the Scarlet Speedster. Also confirmed is that Ezra Miller will be playing The Flash in the DC films.

With confirmation from such a prominent figure for all the DC films moving forwards, fans will likely ask what kind of cameo will The Flash have in "Batman vs. Superman".

The best bet is that either of the title characters will have a dream similar to what happened to Thor in "Avengers: Age of Ultron," where a possible future is revealed to them.

With the confirmation of The Flash, six of the seven founders of the Justice League now have some kind of role in the film. Jason Momoa has been confirmed to play Aquaman, Ray Fisher will appear as Victor Stone / Cyborg, while Gal Gadot has been confirmed as Wonder Woman.

Out of the other Justice League members, it seems that Wonder Woman will be playing the biggest role in the film, as she has been displayed more often in the trailers thus far.

The last member of the seven founding members of the Justice League not confirmed for the film is Green Lantern / Hal Jordan. However, Zack Synder did mention in an earlier interview that they are reserving Green Lantern for part one of the "Justice League" film.

With almost all members of the Justice League placed in "Batman v Superman", fans have been wondering if DC has just decided to place them in the film to give it more credit. While this could be a good thing for the film, it could also make it feel rushed and will potentially hurt the story as a whole.

"Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice" is set to premiere on March 25, 2016.
