Capcom has finally revealed the last character that will join the starting roster of "Street Fighter V."
During the PlayStation Experience 2015 at San Francisco, Capcom's video game producer, Yoshinori Ono, introduced the purple-outfitted and poison-wielding character named F.A.N.G.
In the PlayStation Blog, a trailer for F.A.N.G was shown, exhibiting the slippery fighting style of the character, along with the emphasis on his poison emitting attacks.
According to the blog, F.A.N.G is an assassin who is the second in command of Shadaloo, next to M.Bison. Described to have a penchant for doing evil experiments in the research facilities of Shadaloo, F.A.N.G is the first character in the series to wield poison, which, just like the poison attacks in other games, continuously causes damage to the opponent
Other key takeaways on F.A.N.G's abilities are his V-Skill, called Nishodoku and V-Trigger Dokunomu. As described in the PlayStation blog, F.A.N.G's V-Skill is his ability to throw "slow-moving poison-filled projectile" which deals damage to the opponent when hit. Meanwhile, his V-Trigger is a poisonous cloud that surrounds his body, providing damage to the opponent when near him.
F.A.N.G is the fourth new character to be revealed in "Street Fighter V." Latinos Post previously reported the inclusion of the wind-bending tech-loving character, Rashid. Other new characters are Brazilian fighter and jiu-jitsu expert, Laura, as well as the savage and close-range combat beast, Necalli. The game's initial roster now stands at 16.
Moreover, along with the announcement of the new character, Capcom also named six DLC characters that will be included in the post-launch roster in 2016.
The six characters are Alex, Guile, Balrog, Ibuki, Juri, and Urien. Moreover, although all of these characters can be unlocked for free, Capcom provided the option of playing the characters instantly by getting the 2016 Season Pass that costs $29.99.
Adding spice to their 2016 Season Pass offer, gamers who will avail will be given premium costume for the characters, as well as a PlayStation 4-exclusive theme. This offer, as mentioned in the blog, will save $30 dollars for the players who will purchase the characters and costumes.
The 2016 Season Pass is already on sale for pre-purchase in North America and those who purchase it before its February 16, 2016 release, will receive Ryu, Chun-Li, and M. Bison avatars. Meanwhile, the season pass will be available to European customers on its launch date.
"Street Fighter V" will be available for PS4 and PC.
