Ever since fans of the AMC hit show "The Walking Dead" saw season 1 survivor Glenn seemingly dying, the internet has been flooded with possible scenarios on how he might have survived.

For the first time, the internet got it right, Cinemablend reports. For those who have not yet seen season 6 episode 7, please be warned that spoilers are ahead.

In the first scene of the latest episode entitled "Heads Up", viewers see that after Nicholas shot himself in the head and landed on top of Glenn, it was indeed Nicholas' stomach and not Glenn's body that the horde of walkers began to devour.

After a brief struggle, Glenn was able to hide underneath the dumpster and proceeded to kill the walkers that were trying to get to him. Glenn was able to stay underneath the dumpster long enough for the horde to lose interest, and after a long wait, he made his escape.

According to Comic Book, however, Glenn's amazing escape may all be for nothing as the group may have already begun interacting with the Saviors.

For those who are not familiar with the Saviors, they are a group of survivors who like to pretty much intimidate other survivor settlements into giving them a good portion of their supplies. They are led by a man called Negan, who carries with him everywhere his trusty barbed wire bat Lucille.

Negan is responsible for the death of Glenn in the comics, and it has been confirmed that veteran actor Jeffery Dean Morgan has been signed to play Negan starting season 6. Fans may remember Morgan from hit shows like "Supernatural" and "Grey's Anatomy."

Moreover, it has been confirmed that Morgan will be taking a guest starring role in season 6, but will be part of the main cast starting season 7. This could mean that Negan might play a large role as the main villain.

With the signing of Morgan as Negan and the confirmation of the actor becoming a main cast after season 6, it doesn't look good for our favorite pizza delivery boy. However, the show hasn't always stuck to the comic's storyline, so there still might be a chance that Glenn can survive, seeing that he's one of the most popular characters on the show.

Fans will just have to keep on watching to find out if Glenn will actually make it to the end of the series.

"The Walking Dead" shows on AMC on Sundays at 9 PM EST.
