Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson Relationship Rumors: Here's the Truth, According to Zayn Malik

Zayn Malik finally did his first major interview after his exit from One Direction. The former band member also dished out on the real score between the fictional relationship between Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson.

An unlikely pairing was made between Styles and Tomlinson thanks to One Direction fans. The fictional relationship between the two band members has been in question and this time, Malik has the details.

"Larry" is what fans call Styles and Tomlinson's relationship. According to a report from Hollywood Life, if there is anyone who could confirm the rumors whether something is really going on between the two, then there's no better source than a band member himself.

During his exclusive interview with The Fader, Malik spoke about the "Larry" issue. The 22-year-old crushed the fantasy of some fans when he confirmed that there is no "secret" relationship that's going on between the boys.

Malik also said that the rumors are somehow affecting the relationship of Styles and Tomlinson. The now solo artist described how the issue has made Styles and Tomlinson act towards each other.

"It's not funny, and it still continues to be quite hard for them," Malik said. "They won't naturally go put their arm around each other because they're conscious of this thing that's going on, which is not even true. They won't do that natural behavior."

However, even though the rumor was created by the fans, Malik stood in defense of their supporters. He said that its jus a result of how passionate the fans are. He credits that if it wasn't for the "almost obsession" they get from fans then they wouldn't be able to have the success that they have.

Although he stands firm with their fans, Malik finally spoke out about the reason why he left the band. He said that he wanted to have the freedom to do his own music and to not be dictated by the management of who he should be or the kind of music they should sing as a band.

One Direction just finished their tour and the boys are set to take a break next year. In the meantime, they were able to drop a visit to The Ellen De Generes Show where they played a game "Never Have I Ever," People magazine reported.

During the game, Styles made fans jump from their seat when he revealed that he hooked up with a fan. After realizing that excitement from the audience, Styles wittingly said that his paddle is broken.
