It's official. Verizon might be first among customer satisfaction, but the wireless carrier certainly finished dead last in the Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean race among the four major national carriers  in the United States. Daring Verizon Galaxy S3 owners, however, don't have to sit around and wait while Verizon twiddles its thumbs as the latest build from the carrier has leaked for download.

Before we begin, it must be stressed that these ROMs are in no way official releases from Big Red. Instead, they require flashing, rooting, and all kinds of carefully-calibrated technical processes that could end up damaging your phone. Use these ROMs only if you have previous experience with them, or are willing to risk your phone's well being. Regardless, be sure to read the instructions carefully.

The latest Verizon Android 4.1.1 build for the Galaxy S3, VRBLK3, is available to download through XDADevelopers. The build was posted by forum user open1your1eyes0 and is dated Nov. 30, meaning it's Verizon's newest build. VRBLK3 is supposedly an almost-completed version of Jelly Bean, and hopefully this means Verizon is polishing up a final version for release.

Anxious Verizon Galaxy S3 owners can also head over to another XDA post, which details other various ROMS and utilities those looking to flash their device can look into it, although VRBLK3 remains the most faithful to Verizon's official build.

Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean has now been released on carriers Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T. The update even started rolling out in Canada earlier this week, so let's hope the Big Red steps up its game and satisfies its customers soon.
