Like any decent high-profile tech launch, supplies are scarce and demand is high, making the Google-LG Nexus 4 a hard smartphone to get ahold of. Luckily, for those who act quickly enough, T-Mobile has started taking orders again for the Nexus 4.

A quick jaunt over to T-Mobile's online store shows that the carrier currently has the Google Nexus 4 in stock and is selling the 16GB variant of the handset for $199.99 with a two-year contract. A slight hiccup recently caused the Nexus 4 price to show up as $399.99, but it seems T-Mobile has fixed that, and the price is $199.99 for both existing and new customers who also purchase a two-year plan.

Google's Play store is still indicating severe supply shortages, as the 8GB unlocked Nexus 4 is still listed as out of stock. Buyers can still purchase the 16GB variant, although Google does state that it will ship out by seven weeks - meaning that the handset won't arrive at your doorstep until 2013.

Bad news, given that Google Play's Nexus 4 is more appealing than T-Mobile's. While both phones are unlocked, the Google Play 16GB version only costs $150 more and comes without any carrier strings attached. The 8GB Nexus 4 is even more eye-catching, costing a mere $299.99 for a high-end unlocked smartphone. Still, if you absolutely must have the Nexus 4, then T-Mobile is your only other choice (unless you're willing to spend up to $250 extra through third-party retailers).

The Nexus 4 is equipped with a 4.7-inch display that features a resolution of 1280X768. The smartphone also houses a 1.5GHZ quad-core processor, 2GB RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera. Oh, and let's not forget the smartphone's most important feature: it's an unlocked Nexus device, meaning this Google-branded handset receives Android updates straight from Google and is always on the cutting edge. The Nexus 4 currently runs Android 4.2, the only smartphone other than the Galaxy Nexus to currently do so.

Let us know if you managed to snatch up a Nexus 4 and what you think of it.
