Christina Aguilera gives thumbs up to Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's romance.

According to a report from Fox News Latino, former "The Voice" judge Aguilera has nothing but well wishes to new couple Shelton and Stefani. This is after a representative of Shelton confirmed that the two are indeed dating. A spokesperson from Stefani's camp revealed that the two "The Voice" judges are officially together.

Shelton and Stefani both filed from divorce in July and August consecutively and rumors about their romance sparked afterwards. Although the two are facing some negative criticism regarding their new found relationship, they found a supporter in fellow "The Voice" judge Christina Aguilera.

"And I know first-hand what it's like to go through a divorce, and it can be hard for you no matter who you are or what you're going through, but then under a media microscope, it's insane! So my heart goes out to anyone going through it," Aguilera said. "Divorce is rough enough. Find happiness where you can, and if it's in each other, more power to them!"

Aguilera is not a stranger to the whole divorce scene. Back in 2010, the singer had her fair share of what it's like to go through the process when she filed for divorce from music executive Jordan Bratman.

According to Entertainment Online, the "Say Something" singer also offered a piece of advice to the new couple by encouraging them to do whatever makes them happy and to not read the tabloids.

"Don't read it! You don't need to fill your mind or give your energy to any of it. Keep it positive. Do what makes you happy. Do what makes your soul feel good," Aguilera pointed out.

Aguilera is busy at the moment with HopeLine from Verizon. The campaign aims to raise awareness regarding domestic violence. The topic is something that is close to her heart after admitting that it was something that she witnessed as a child. The singer also confessed that domestic violence affected her mother and the woman she is today.

Although her childhood was hard, Aguilera said that it also helped her to be the person she is today. Instead of going downward spiral, she was able to use her situation and turn it into something positive. She relied on music as an escape which served her good in the end.

The singer who is in a relationship with Matthew Rutler emphasized how important it was for her to choose a partner who is not demonstrating the cycle of abuse, especially since she has two kids, Max Liron Bratman and Summer Rain Rutler, to raise.

"My children, I know, have the luxury-not even the luxury, it shouldn't be a luxury to feel safe in your own home, " Aguilera said.
