HTC One X9 With 23-Megapixel Camera, 4 GB of RAM, BoomSound Speakers Leaks [Release Date, Specs, Features & Rumors]

HTC drew a lot of attention when they announced the HTC One A9 but it seems that this will not be the only device to look forward to if rumors hold true.

This has something to do with word that another potential HTC device could be out in the open with the HTC One X9.

The HTC One X9 leaked recently, spotted via promo image bearing an interesting tagline, “packed with city smarts”. It remains to be seen of course what that exactly means though the alleged features could draw your attention even more.

The HTC One X9 will reportedly come with BoomSound speakers which could be a sign that this variant will be another high-end smartphone in the offing.

Aside from that, another intriguing feature could come in the form of the display screen which will allegedly be a 5-inch Quad HD (1440x2560 pixel) display.

There is no affirmation right now on what type of processor the HTC One X9 will carry though it coud boil down to a choice between a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor or a deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC.

Further complimenting specs include 4 GB of RAM, 64 to 128 GB of internal memory with provisions for expansion, a 23 MP rear camera, a 4 MP front-facing shooter and a 3500 mAh battery.

Worth noting as well is the 23 MP camera that the HTC One X9 sports, which should hopefully render good high resolution photos and videos with that high pixel count.

From the outside, the HTC One X9 looks lush in that white colored variant. With the promo image hardly something that folks can consider accurate, it remains to be seen if there will be the usual black, gray or color variants of the device coming out too.

Under the HTC wing, the only device that may be tied up with this rumored HTC One X9 is the HTC One X. That variant has of course made a good account for itself to date though it remains to be seen of the HTC One X9 is something that was meant to append that product branch line.

As far as how much the HTC One X9 will retail, rumors suggest that the device could play around the $470 price range. There is no word yet on what Android OS version the HTC One X9 will come out with though a safe presumption would be to see it on Android 5.1.1 for starters.

Then again, seeing it debut with an Android 6.0 M out of the box will surely be welcome.
