'Expo Mexico Emprende 2012', organized by the Mexican government, is directed to Mexican citizens who are interested in either initiating a company or further developing their existing small or medium-sized companies in Mexico, while overseas.

The expo will take place in Chicago's McCormick Place from May 25-27 and will offer consulting, conferences and workshops in the areas of innovation, finance, technology, commercialization, and training.

Some of the titles of the workshops and conferences are "The ABCs of Franchises", by Cesar Aranday, Enrique Alcazar, Juan Manuel Gallastegui, Ferenz Feher; "Mexicans in a Globalized World", by David Konzevik; and "Pesos and Dollars In Order to Initiate Your Small or Medium Company in Mexico", by Francisco Lerin Mestas.

In its second year, the exposition is expected to gather considerably more people this year than in 2011, when the expo took place in Los Angeles, California which attracted approximately 10,350 people. 'Expo Mexico Emprende 2011' gathered 230 exhibitors in 15 pavilions.

This year's exposition will be free of charge. For more information click here.
