On Oct. 28, 2015, Microsoft announced the Games with Gold list for the month of November. Xbox Live Gold subscribers will receive four free games during the month for Xbox One and Xbox 360. There will be a number of exciting game titles although other areas may have different titles depending on market availability, Major Nelson reported.
Among the four new free games that will be released, two will be for Xbox One and the other two will be playable on Xbox 360. Beginning November 2015, all future Games with Gold titles for Xbox 360 will also be playable on Xbox One when Xbox One Backward Compatibility launches on Nov. 12. Gamers can take on others via multiplayer regardless of the gaming console they are using and can play Xbox 360 titles with the advanced specifications of Xbox One, such as Screenshots, in-home streaming to Windows 10 and Game DVR.
Game Spot wrote that at present, players can still avail of the free games for October 2015, namely “Valiant Hearts: The Great War” and “The Walking Dead” by Telltales.
The four free titles for November are:
Xbox One:
• Pneuma: Breath of Life (Nov. 1 to 30)
• Knight Squad (Nov. 16 to Dec. 15)
Xbox 360:
• DiRT 3 (Nov. 1 to 15)
• Dungeon Siege III (Nov. 16 to 30)
Major Nelson stated that “Pneuma: Breath of Life” normally costs $19.99, while “Knight Squad” costs $14.99. “DiRT 3” usually costs $24.99, while “Dungeon Siege III” costs $19.99. The four titles will become available as free downloads for all qualifying Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available. Certain regions may provide different titles based on availability.
“Pneuma: Breath of Life” is a first-person puzzle game that will test players’ minds in a visually engaging world using Unreal Engine 4. “Knight Squad” is an action game developed by Chainsawesome Games, which delves on competitive and cooperative gameplay for 1 to 8 players. Players take on the role of a knight in an arena to battle others using special weapons and power-ups. “Dungeon Siege III” is an action role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Square Enix. Players can choose among four characters to play through a fantasy medieval setting. “DiRT 3” is the third installment in the rallying game series of the Cody McRae Rally series, developed by Codemasters.
