Chivas de Guadalajara vs Toluca, Estadio Omnilife Zapopan, Jalisco, 2100 ET

Chivas host Toluca is the first of the night's two Copa MX Semi-Finals, with Matias Almeyda's side coming into the match full of confidence after an impressive away victory over America at the weekend.

The Argentine coach will hope that his side can take advantage of their home game in order to upset a Toluca side that have been in very good form in recent weeks and who beat the Guadalajara back in August 3-1.

Chivas will see the match as an opportunity to return to the final of the showpiece, which they lost last year and offer a kick start to their season, which has thus far been a rocky one.

Since Almeyda took over in September, Chivas appeared to be on the road to recovery after a terrible start to the Apertura campaign under Chepo de la Torre, however, the honeymoon period is wearing off and Almeyda will look to seek a final birth in the Copa in order to boost his side's chances in the upcoming post season.

His opposite number Jose Cardozo is under less pressure as his side compete for the top spot in Liga MX.

Toluca have enjoyed a successful season thus far and will be hoping to take their form into the Estadio Omnilife Zapopan and come away with the vital win.

Leon vs Atlas, Estadio Nou Camp Leon, Guanajuato, 2313 ET

The second Semi Final of the night sees Leon take on Atlas, as both look to bounce back to winning ways after disappointing results last weekend.

For the home side Leon, who have looked strong all season, the results of the past several weeks have been frustrating for supporters of Los Panzas Verdes.

Juan Antnio Pizzi's side sit in fourth place in Liga MX and will want to mirror their success in the Copa by ensuring that they qualify strongly for the playoffs.

Leon's form in the Copa has been very strong, they remain undefeated thus far and have given the competition real importance despite three straight losses in the Liga. Expect Pizzi's men to be fired up and ready to force their way into the final.

For Atlas, the season has proved very difficult so far and their run to the Semi Finals has been a real highlight of a season in which they are unlikely to make the post season.

Atlas may be buoyed by their 3-2 victory over Leon back in May, but will be acutely aware that the stakes will be higher on Wednesday as they enter the Estadio Nou Camp.
