Brock Lesnar Tasked to Save WWE's Falling Ratings?

The WWE has so far been unable to check their skidding ratings even with main draw John Cena in the roster. So how can the WWE arrest that skid and do better if the U.S. Champ does go on hiatus?

Word about Cena taking a leave due to personal reasons has been in the air though it remains to be seen when (and if) it would actually happen.

Preparing for the unthinkable, the WWE may need to turn it up a notch and find a suitable WWE star to somehow salvage its faltering ratings. And from the looks of it, that man is no other the Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar was on hand at the October 5, 2015 edition of RAW at TD Garden, a move scene to somehow offset a record-low in viewership last week.

The former UFC athlete is primed for an alleged finale of his feud with the Undertaker at WWE Hell in a Cell on October 25 but from the looks of it, a new feud will follow that should keep the Beast Incarnate pretty busy.

Is the move something done to address Cena’s possible time-off and hopefully turn thing around in the ratings game? That of course remains to be seen.

As far as where Lesnar goes after that match with the Dead Man, chances are he will be caught in a storyline with the Big Show next. The Big Show has been pretty vocal lately about Lesnar and apparently the two finally met face-to-face at RAW.

So how does Big Show’s sudden insertion into the seemingly silenced turmoil between Lesnar and Undertaker measure up?

It may not be surprising to see the Big Show messing up things between the Phenom and the Beast at WWE Hell in a Cell. For now there is no word on who would win the rubber match though an involvement by the Big Show could lead to a possible DQ or no contest.

Things between the Taker and Lesnar have been spiced up a big after that controversial win by the Dead Man at WWE SummerSlam.

To recall, Taker seemed to have been tapping out but the referees missed it. Instead, Lesnar received a low blow and lost to the Undertaker, something that Paul Heyman has vehemently been protesting to this day.

With Lesnar stepping up, the more important thing at hand is on whether his (rumored) frequent appearances could save the day for the WWE and its falling ratings.

Unless the WWE comes up with something to address the situation other than bringing back Lesnar, the answer to that remains to be seen.
