"Orange is the New Black" Season 4 is currently in production but there are few scoops and tidbits about what's to happen next in the upcoming season.

In an article by Vine Report, there are claims that Danny Pearson will be resigning from his post after having enough from his dad. If this happens then Joe Caputo will be promoted and will have to face new challenges which includes a possible lawsuit.

The report also added that Alex and Piper's relationship will be more exposed in the fourth season. In the previous season, the couple decided to call it quits but it seems like their love story is nowhere near the end. In another article by Christian Post, Laura Prepon, who plays the character of Alex, said that their characters will "always have a connection."

"You can't control where your heart goes, and Alex and Piper will always have a connection. I definitely think that if Alex needed her or she needed Alex, they would be there for each other completely," Prepon said in an interview.

Aside from highlighting their relationship, Season 4 will also show a darker side of their characters. Meanwhile, Uzo Aduba who plays Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren might also have a love interest. There are speculations that it might be Maureen Kukidio played by Emily Althaus. And while others are rekindling or starting a relationship, some will have to meet a possible end. Sam Healy and Red may have to deal with their unhappy marriage in a much anticipated emotional scenes to happen in Season 4.

"Orange Is The New Black" fans are also wondering if they will be able to see more of Ruby Rose in the upcoming season. She played the role of Stella which was an instant hit to fans. Viewers are hoping for Stella's return despite being sent to the maximum security which was because of Piper's manipulation in Season 3. Some are speculating that Stella might make a return especially if she is befriending Nicky who is another Litchfield inmate under maximum security. It could be a possible twist that showrunners might consider for the next season.

The show is a combination of comedy, crime and drama TV series which follows the life of Piper Chapman, a mid-thirties public relations executive woman convicted for 15 months in prison. She was involved in a crime that associated herself in transporting drug money. The Season 4 was already signed for and started production in June. The next season of "Orange Is The New Black" will be released sometime next year.
