Those enjoying "Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale" still have a great deal coming their way with the soon to be released DLC for the title.

Game Director Seth Killian recently spoke to VG247 about the new DLC characters Emmett and Kat and what motivated their inclusion in the title.

Regarding Starhawks' Emmett, Killian emphasized that there would be a lot of the "Build and Battle" gameplay in which types of weapons become available throughout. He did not elaborate but did specify that Emmett would have some guns but that they "wanted to accentuate the construction mechanic."

As for Kat from Gravity Rush, Killian states that no one else moves around like her and that she will have the ability to play with gravity.

As for reasons that motivated her inclusion, Killian offered up quite a few. "She is a new character, but she had a huge impact as soon as Gravity Rush released," Killian stated. "Kat's an awesome one too, because she's obviously an interesting character with unique abilities, so everyone on the team was really excited about adding her to the game. Thankfully, we were able to get the Gravity Rush team on board, and now it's full steam ahead."

Killian added that they also just wanted to add more woman to roster. In the current 20 character lineup, there are only two female characters currently available: Nakiro and Fat Princess.

There has been no release date on the DLC characters but when they do become available, they will be free for two weeks.
