Sometimes, it's too difficult to comb through every Black Friday deal to find what you want. These smartphone apps can help.

RedLaser (Android, iOS, Windows Phone) is a barcode scanner that reads the UPC symbol on any item, locates reviews online and finds prices at nearby retailers, so you can make sure you're getting the nest bargain. You can also search for items by taking a picture of it with your phone's camera.

Amazon Mobile (Android, iOS) lets you browse Amazon's wares more easily, possibly getting you what you want for a better price.

Google Maps (Android) just introduced floor plan maps of shopping malls and airports, just in time for Black Friday shopping. Figure out where you need to go, even if you can't find one of those elusive mall directories. Or if you need a break, just find the closest airport bar.

Foursquare (Android, Blackberry, iOS) usually just lets everyone know you've stopped for lunch. But many stores are offering discounts this weekend if you check in online.

Best Buy (Android, iOS) will let you read the circular without fiddling with pages. You can also make purchases right on your phone and have them shipped straight home for free.

Target (Android, iOS) Like the Best Buy app, you can browse and buy from your phone, and have your purchase sent home for free. Target is also offering free in-store wi-fi and barcode scanning.

TGI Black Friday (Android, iOS) aggregates all the deals from the major retail stores, to help you figure out where to go before you stand in line.
