Taylor Swift may be fulfilling every TV fangirl's dream-come-true.

It's practically common knowledge now that Swift is a massive SVU fan having named one of her adorable felines after Law & Order: SVU's Manhattan police sergeant Olivia Benson. Going a step further, she even invited actress Mariska Hargitay (who plays Olivia Benson) to be a part of her stellar "squad," -- which includes Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne, Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, to name a few -- having appeared in Swift's controversial "Bad Blood" music video and her "1989 World Tour" concert last June in Philadelphia.

During film break, Hargitay teases in an interview with Entertainment Online that Taylor Swift may guest on SVU. "We just talked about it," Hargitay tells ET. "We're going to wait until the end of the [Swift's 1989 World] tour to see how it goes. But it's in the air," she adds.

First aired in 1999 and known for it's "ripped-from-the-headlines" plots, sometimes involving celebrities, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit focuses on murder, rape and assault cases where viewers may find survivors to assist the investigation.

In the event, Swift takes a rain check due to her busy schedule, Hargitay and producer Warren Leight have another idea in mind. "We're thinking of naming a squad room cat Taylor," Leight says, as per People. "The squad room needs to get a cat or I need to get a cat and name it Taylor," Hargitay jokes in the same interview, as reported by People." In the event Swift agrees, it will be the second time she joins Hargitay on-screen. Swift's and SVU's fans will have to patiently by mid-December for the confirmation.

ET also inquired about Hargitay's appearance on the Bad Blood music video and as well as her co-stars. Hargitay respond with  it was "an experience." "It's a good posse to jump into," Hargitay said of her new gal pals. She adds: "The best part of going with Taylor and the girls was that they were so supportive, wonderful and fun."

According to ET, Hargitay and Leight also confirms a few upcoming guest stars. Virginia Madsen (Sideways) will be appearing in the sixth episode as the mother of Det. Rollins (Kelli Giddish). They also revealed that Adrienne Moore (Cindy on Orange Is the New Black) is in the second episode.

Law & Order: SVU returns for its 17th season on Sept 23 on NBC.
