Black Friday is just hours away, and retailers are now making their final preparations as hordes of shoppers clamor in the frigid cold, anxiously skittering about outside.
Shopper anticipation is reaching a fever pitch, and both GameStop and Toys R' Us intend to take advantage of it. Over 3,000 U.S. GameStop locations will open their doors at 12:01 a.m. and welcome customers until 5:00 a.m. local time, according to an official press release. Toys R' Us is taking a price-matching approach to this year's consumerist celebration. "We're the toy leader...there's no reason we should be under priced," he says. "We have more toys than anyone else, trained sales people to help you get the right toy for the right child...we have free layaway, and we'll match anyone's prices.
