Polish that helm and armor. Sharpen that blade and prepare for the hunt as Capcom gives "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" players another reason to go online with the new September downloadable content (DLC).

According to Nintendo official website, this month's DLC is free for download for everyone who owns the 3DS exclusive "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." It includes 12 new quests, 3 new Arena Challenges, 1 new weapon, the GX Tempest/GX Welkin armor set, a new Palico equipment set, 1 green palico, 1 guild card background and 6 new guild card titles. A video was posted by a YouTube channel named Monster Hunter and gave the players an overview of September's DLC pack. The video mentioned monsters such as a small Apex Black Gravios, two small Cephadromes, the dreaded Raging Brachidios, a chilling fight with an Oroshi Kirin, an enraged Gogmazios to farm the Tempest armor set, a fierce Akantor and a Shah Dalamadur. Thus, the hunt continues.

September's DLC pack packs quite more weight than what last month has to offer, according to Game Snack. The report stated that August's DLC pack included 10 new quests, 4 new Challenge quests, 1 Bonus Palico, 1 Guild Card background and 7 Guild Card titles. It may have contained less, but it did not stop players from enjoying the latest installment of the "Monster Hunter" franchise.

On other news, Game Snack reported about "Monster Hunter X." It revealed that the official "Monster Hunter X" website was updated with new pictures of a new monster named Raizekusu. The game's announcement trailer, which was released by Game Spot's YouTube channel, fueled the hype train since May of this year. The video showcased new attack patterns and movement for each weapon type. Included in the video were four new flagship monsters, which is a first in the franchise.

Just last month, more gameplay videos were released to the public. Although in Japanese, some fans took the time to translate what the Japanese were saying in English for those who do not speak the language. With the month of September still in its infancy, there are more news and gameplay videos to be expected from Capcom.

The success of the franchise has brought about a few spin-offs, one of which is the upcoming turn-based game titled "Monster Hunter Stories." According to a translated report from Game Talk by Gematsu, the game will be about a protagonist (can be a male or female) who, instead of hunting monsters, tames and rides them. More details and a trailer is featured on the game's official website.

The hunt presses on as more DLCs are to be expected for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate." While still without a western release date (as usual), "Monster hunter X" will be out in Japan November 28, 2015. Stay posted for more details.
