Caitlyn Jenner frankly admits to wanting a partner in a recent interview with Ellen Degeneres.

Set to be completely broadcast on Sept. 8, the interview between the 65-year-old "I Am Cait" star and Degeneres is her first since coming out with a new identity as "Caitlyn." The transgender reality star tells Degeneres her hopes of finding someone to share her journey with.

Going for a sophisticated look, Jenner is clad in a white long-sleeved blouse and slim black skirt. She paired the ensemble with black-and-white bow-tied heels, as she sat down for her first TV interview since transitioning into Caitlyn.

While she opened up on her thoughts on dating, she has yet to express her preference for men or women, as reported by The Daily Mail. In a recent episode of "I Am Cait," Jenner expressed that she likes the idea of being taken care of by a man, after previously insisting she was not attracted to males.

Jenner dodged Deneres' question of whether she is interested in men or women, but instead revealed that she hopes to find a loving relationship in the future, as reported by The Daily Mail.

"Everybody wants to have a partner, everybody would love to have a family and for trans people sometimes that can be extraordinarily difficult to do," Jenner told Degeneres. Jenner also joked that she already has "too many children."

''I've kind of passed that stage in my life, but yes would I like to find a partner in life to share my life with. I'm sure I will at some point," she said to Degeneres. "Right now I'm just very busy doing a lot of things and kind of just getting used to where I'm at and who I'm at. As time goes on I'll deal with that subject," she added.

While she previously opposed the movement, Jenner changed her mind about her support for gay marriage. "I have to admit that I remember 15 years ago, 20 years ago, whenever it was the whole gay marriage issue came up at first, I was not for it," she admited to the host. "I mean, I like tradition and it's always been between a man and a woman, and I'm thinking I don't quite get it," she explained.

"As time goes on, like a lot of people on this issue, I've really changed thinking here to I don't ever want to stand in front of anybody's happiness," she clarified, as reported by news.com.au. She continued, "That's not my job. If that word marriage is really, really that important to you I can go with it."

However, she was tight-lipped when the interview delved into her relationship with transgender "Dirty Sexy Money" actress Candis Cayne. "Candice is back stage, but that's a whole other deal. Candice is great. We really have a lot a fun. She's a beautiful woman," Jenner said, according to The Daily Mail.

By the end of the show, Jenner and Degeneres presented a check for $20,000 to Blossom Brown, a transgender student who has had trouble getting into nursing school due to her gender identity.
