A new exciting rumor about the Nexus 5 version 2015 is circulating the internet. The much awaited unit out of the Google Nexus smartphones for this year is reportedly ready for release on Sept. 29, 2015.

If the tradition on new phone releases is anything to go by, then expect Nexus 5 to be officially announced earlier than the rumored date.

According to a report from G for Games, the new leak on Nexus 5 (2015) release date came from a Korean media outlet that had already earned credibility among tech enthusiasts since its leak about the Nexus 5 2013 released date was proven to be correct.

A related report from BGR named the Korean website, the MKPOST.

According to GottaBe Mobile, the leak coming from the Korean media outlet is particularly significant because Nexus 5 (2015) will reportedly be manufactured by LG, a known Korean company.

The website further stated that "sources inside of Korea" were one in saying that the new Google Nexus smartphone will be running the Android 6.0 Marshmallow.

While it is expected for Nexus 5 (2015) to hit the Google Store on Sept. 29, no US carrier has spoken about carrying the unit.

As for the specs and features of the Nexus 5, Phonearena is reporting that the new Google Nexus smartphone is designed with a 5.2 inch, 1440 x 2560 resolution screen with a pixel density of 565ppi.

BGR  reported that unit is to be installed with the Snapdragon 808 chipset instead of the more sophisticated Snapdragon 810 CPU.

It will reportedly come with a hexa-core CPU and the Adreno 418 GPU.

As for the memory, the unit will reportedly have 3GB of RAM instead of the high-speed LPDDr4 memory, hence the predicted lower pricing.

The 13MP rear-facing camera will include OIS.

Furthermore, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow will already be installed before hand.

In a related report, Phonearena outlined other rumors that claim the new Nexus 5 will have a protruding camera, a large camera sensor, LED flash supported by an infra-red assist light and a finger scanner found right below the main camera.

The predicted specs came from Steve Hammerstoffer, whom the website described as "a leakster with a nearly spotless track record."

Additionally, Nexus 5, with its protruding camera, will be the thickest Google phone model at 9.8mm, Phonearena said.

The body unit alone however, without the camera, is slender measuring just 8mm. As for the look and feel of the Nexus 5, Phonearena added that it might come in a metal frame but with a plastic back.

As for the unit's pricing, a related report from BGR predicts that the unit will be priced lower as expected.
