Microsoft is poised to release a number of powerful devices before the end of 2015. The Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are set to arrive over the next few months.

Chinese website WPDang reported that Microsoft is preparing to launch the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL models. The 950, also dubbed the Talkman, will be the smaller unit of the two smartphones, featuring a 5.2-inch 2K resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, expandable via microSD, a 20-megapixel rear camera, a 5-megapixel front camera and a 3000mAh removable battery. The handset may also have USB Type-C support and Support Continuum via an accessory cable. The cable, as well as other accessories, will be sold separately.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL, or the Cityman model, will be larger, with a 5.7-inch 2K resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory expandable via microSD, a 20-megapixel rear camera with three LED flash, a 5-megapixel front shooter and a 3300mAh removable battery. It may also feature USB Type-C support and Support Continuum via accessory cable. Both the 950 and 950 XL will have a full metal slim unibody.

The Verge wrote that the Microsoft Surface Pro 4 model will not feature a huge departure from its predecessor. Microsoft previously promised to maintain the charging mechanism and overall form factor to ensure that accessories that have worked on the Surface Pro 3 will still be compatible with the next-generation devices. The company is also expected to provide a number of big enhancements in terms of the display, dimensions and features.

The laptop-tablet hybrid will most likely feature a dual-core Intel Skylake Core i5 or i7 with fanless cooling processor, boast 4GB of RAM, a 5-megapixel front and rear camera, 512GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD. The device may also come with two models, with a 12-inch and 14-inch ClearType display respectively. The device may also come with optional 4G, Bluetooth and and WiFi connectivity. The Surface Pro 4 is said to be thinner and lighter, measuring 292 x 201 x 7.5mm and weighing under 800 grams.

Microsoft will also be launching the Microsoft Band 2 model, based on the same report by The Verge. The sensor-laden device will particularly focus on health and fitness enthusiasts. There are talks that the upcoming wearable device will have a more ergonomic and comfortable design.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 4, Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will most likely be unveiled in October 2015.
