There are talks that the rumored iPad Pro will finally release in the fall of 2015. The device is said to include several software and hardware advantages.

Phone Arena wrote that the new tablet, which may be called iPad Pro or iPad Plus, will come with either a 12.2-inch or 12.9-inch ultra high-resolution screen. There are rumors that the tablet may be around 6.9 to 7.5mm thick and include four built-in speakers. It may feature an Apple A9 chipset and run on iOS 9 out of the box, allowing the new split-screen functionality. The device may also feature a stylus, USB Type-C support and Force Touch technology. The product will specifically be geared towards professionals.

In particular, the Force Touch technology let the iPad Pro/Plus sense the amount of pressure that users place on the screen, and will respond accordingly. The Bluetooth stylus itself may also be Force Touch-enabled to offer more precision than finger use. The stylus may also be compatible with other iPad models, depending on the software or support. The stylus is said to be sold separately from the iPad Pro.

AppSee, an analytics company, recently discovered a device described as “iPad 6,8” being tested, which had a resolution of 2372 x 2048. The product was running on iOS 9.1, which may indicate that the iPad Pro may launch with iOS 9.1 pre-installed. However, it can also meant that the iPad Pro will and iOS 9.1 will be introduced at a later event in 2015, after the launch of the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus in September. There are rumors that the device will hit mass production in September or October, which could point to an October or November release date. Apple might follow the same pattern in launching its previous iPads by introducing the iPad Pro in October and then shipping by the end of the month,  Mac Rumors reported.

Based on another Mac Rumors report, Ming-Chi Kuo, a KGI Securities analyst, previously predicted that the iPad Pro may release in the last quarter of 2015. He believes that manufacturer Cheng Uei will also acquire exclusive assembly rights on the stylus. The new market response to Force Touch on a number of Apple products may cause not exclusively push large hardware sales. However, the company might still feature the technology in all its products in the future to remain consistent.

More updates about the Apple iPad Pro are expected soon.
