It has been over two years since Electronic Arts (EA) and DICE announced a reboot of "Star Wars Battlefront" at E3 2013. During those times, fans have taken any and all information regarding the game into consideration. This caused confusion and clouded the fans' judgement. Luckily, recent updates on what the game's developers are up have cleared the minds of eager fans. Just this week, EA and DICE has just revealed the Supremacy Mode for the game.

According to Game Rant, one such multiplayer mode in "Star Wars Battlefront" that fans are very fond of is the Blast Mode. Here, players are pitted in a team-based death match between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire. As fun and exciting as it may seem, the report stated that Supremacy Mode will rival Blast.

In this multiplayer mode, fans will see Rebels fighting Stormtroopers, TIE fighters against the X-Wings, and more vehicles from the franchise fighting for control of all the five points in the game. Each side is given two control points to start and 10 minutes to gain the majority or all of the five points. According to Star Wars EA, Lead Level Designer Dennis Brännval said that this is for those who crave all out multiplayer action.

"When you spawn into Supremacy, you don't have to move far to see a lot of friends - and enemies. You're thrown into a massive frontline, where your screen is filled with adversaries: infantry, Heroes, Walkers, and starfighters. You can prepare for very heavy and focused Star Wars action," said Brännvall.

More from the news stated that if a player is someone who likes to defend, he or she will expect heavy fire from the opposite team's assault force. Meanwhile, if a player likes to be in the offensive, he or she will encounter great resistance from the opposite team while defending their control point.

Other than rebels and Stormtroopers duking it out on the battlefield, heroes and villains will also join the fight and can be a great asset for either side. Dennis Brännval stated, "Using a character like Darth Vader to secure control points is great, as he can take increased damage before going down. Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett are great for moving swiftly between attacking and defensive positions, and giving you the edge against opponents in battle."

Although this may all sound and feel like Battlefield's Conquest Mode, DICE never intended to do so. Nevertheless, this will not stop critics from expressing themselves.

"Star Wars Battlefront" is set to release for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on Nov. 17, 2015.
