The Samsung Galaxy S3 has become Samsung's best-selling smartphone this year, and despite the fact it's still in its relative infancy, people are already speculating as to what features the Galaxy S4 could have. By looking at some recent technologies Samsung has been producing, we can begin building a picture of what the Galaxy S4 could be sporting next year.

According to Asiae, Samsung will begin mass production of a 4.99-inch HD AMOLED display with an incredible 440 pixels per inch (ppi) in Q1 2013. The company is expected to showcase the technology at CES 2013 in Las Vegas. Previous rumors have pointed to the Galaxy S4 having a 1080p 5-inch screen, so this 4.99-inch HD AMOLED display could very well be the Galaxy S4's screen.

Earlier this year, Samsung website SamMobile received an anonymous tip about Samsung working on a smartphone with 3GB RAM. Given that current-gen smartphones can sport up to 2GB RAM, it seems probable that next year's smartphones will have 3GB or even 4GB RAM.

Samsung also began mass producing 128GB memory chips for phones and tablets this year, and we could see this higher storage capacity make its way into Samsung's next lineup of smartphones.

The Galaxy S4 is also rumored to sport a 13-megapixel camera, and of course, the latest version of Android at the time of its release.

If all of these pieces do add up to be the final spec list for the Galaxy S4, we could be looking at a 4.99-inch, 440 ppi display; 128GB memory; 3GB RAM; and a 13-megapixel camera beast sometime around summer 2013.
