Ariana Grande uses her star power by posing in a feminist photoshoot.

The 22-year-old singer displayed her guns and sass during a photo shoot which was dedicated to empower women on Friday in New York City. The "One Last Time" singer wore her signature kitten headbands and a statement top that said, "Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman."

According to Daily Mail, Ariana struck a Rosie the Riveter iconic pose with her arms raised to show strength while she puckered her lips and winked for the camera.

The photoshoot was one of Ariana's recent moves to show girl power. In June, she famously defended herself after being constantly identified as Big Sean's ex-girlfriend. She spoke about issues regarding the double standard in the society and further asserted herself as an independent woman.

She remarked that she was tired of being called Big Sean's ex and criticized how the world often refers to women as a man's past, future or property/possession. She expressed her sentiments back then as a single woman. Ari said that for the past years she always felt that she needed a man by her side but realized that she is okay on her own when she experienced some time being single.

The singer and the rapper split up after months of dating citing that their busy schedule was the reason for the break up. A source claimed that the two were struggling to see each other because of their jobs as entertainers. A few months after, Ariana was seen planting a kiss on one of her back up dancers, Ricky Alvarez. The two are rumored to be dating.

In a recent report by Gossip Cop, Ariana is said to have treated some of her fans for lunch after they waited outside her hotel in Canada. The singer posted a picture with a bunch of girls while sharing a meal and captioned it, "tea with my Toronto babies... you make me happy."

Her fans were more than happy with the impromptu lunch. The singer reportedly brought some of her fans to the hotel, bought them lunch, took selfies and talked to everyone who was there.

Ariana was in Toronto as part of her "Honeymoon Tour." Aside from her concerts, the singer is also working on a special TV series project with a title "Scream Queens." She will star alongside Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and many more.
