The sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey" will include a new set of characters, which means fans can expect to see new faces joining the rather familiar ones of Dakota Johnson (Anastasia Steele) and Jamie Dornan (Christian Grey), among others in the original film.

Right now, there hasn't been a new name attached to the "Fifty Shades Darker" cast, although Henry Cavill's has been tossed around frequently in the past few weeks. He's been reportedly "being eyed to play Jack Hyde, Anastasia Steele's (Dakota Johnson) new boss, who takes an immediate liking to her," Entertainment

Tonight noted.

Previously, the "Superman" star, however, responded to the rumors by saying that he's "not allowed to say anything" yet, fueling more speculations.

However, he later came clean and told USA Today that he was really just "messing with everyone" by playing coy about his involvement in the racy flick's sequel.

"I'm not in 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' I'm for real," he finally confirmed.

"The first time around, everyone was asking, 'Are you Christian Grey?' I went 'No!' But no one cared and everyone kept talking about it," he explained. "This time around, everyone is now still convinced I'm part of the series. Now the question is, 'Are you going to be in 'Fifty Shades Darker. ' And I thought, I'm going to try a different tact this time. See what they say. And so I tried a different tact."

So much for that. On to the other characters.

Elena Lincoln is another new character. She's the "Mrs Robinson figure who introduced Christian Grey to a BDSM lifestyle," Movie Pilot noted. "She should be a hilarious romp, but the movie risks approaching her with vitriolic vilification just as Ana does, when so much could be done with her."

Then there's Leila Williams, one of the former submissives in Christian's life who came back to the billionaire's life months after losing her lover in a car accident, as well as her mind. Leila's reappearance makes Ana uneasy as the obsessed and disturbed woman appears to not only put her physical security at risk, but also her relationship with the brooding Christian. Ana worries Christian finds her too vanilla and may be turning to Leila for more satisfaction.

"The character of Leila Williams could be totally played up to an almost parodic degree, and that would be great. What is crazy is the names of actresses getting thrown around willy nilly by news outlets," Movie Pilot mused.

Who do you think should play these three new characters? Sound off your thoughts!
