After spending about 6 months in coma, Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away Sunday at a hospice in Atlanta, Georgia. She was only 22.

Initial autopsy results show that there is "no obvious cause of death," according to USA Today.

"The months that have passed since Brown was found face-down in a bathtub are working against authorities now tasked with solving how she died," the news source said. "It will likely be several weeks before it can rule on a manner and cause of death for the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston."

The Fulton County Medical Examiner's Office had released a statement saying that the initial autopsy did not show "significant injuries" or "previously unknown medical conditions" regarding the deceased.

"The next step is ordering lab tests and issuing subpoenas for documents - most likely Brown's hospital records," USA Today said.

Former NYC medical examiner Dr. Michael Baden explained that that autopsies are normally done on people who "freshly died" and that the toxicology and injuries are clear in these cases.

"Because she was in the hospital for a long time, any drugs that may have been in the body will be gone after a few days. Injuries, if there were any injuries, would be changed by the length of time, the healing process," Dr. Baden said.

It can be recalled that Bobbi Kristina was initially brought in for medical attention on January 31, after she was found unresponsive in her home's bathtub, Entertainment Tonight said.

"She was put on a ventilator to assist her breathing. She was later placed in a medically induced coma at Atlanta's Emory University Hospital," the site went on to say. "Nearly two months later, she was moved to a rehabilitation center, where she remained until June 24, when she was moved to the hospice center."

However, despite the medical care, Bobbi Kristina's condition worsened over the months until she passed away on July 26.

Funeral services for the 22-year-old will take place Saturday morning at St. James United Methodist Church in Alpharetta. She will be buried in New Jersey Monday.

"Both services will be private," 11Alive reported.

Nick Gordon, Bobby Kristina's live-in boyfriend who had been raised by Whitney herself since he was 12, had been prevented from visiting the deceased during her hospital stay. He had since gone into rehab and moved in with his biological mother in Florida. He had been accused by Bobbi Kristina's family as having a hand in her untimely demise. Police are still investigating the case and has not charged anyone yet.
