Thanks to the Undertaker, Seth Rollins continues to reign as the WWE heavyweight champion. Not only that, Brock Lesnar’s attention has been diverted to someone else, thus giving him a big sigh of relief. But the question is, for how long.

With Brock Lesnar now occupied with the returning Undertaker, Rollins is left without an opponent. However, all that could change soon.

If you caught our post yesterday, we did mention that at the July 20 episode of WWE RAW, Rollins expectedly sounded off his success of retaining the WWE title though everyone knows that it wouldn’t have been possible had the Undertaker not interfered.

While Rollins continued to praise himself, there was one man who couldn’t take it anymore. He was no other than United States Champion John Cena. In all, Cena wanted Rollins to prove he deserves to be the WWE champion by facing him. Unfortunately, Rollins was not interested, at least for that time.

Could this indicate that the two may be facing off soon? Could Cena be Rollins’ opponent for WWE SummerSlam next month?

There is a chance considering that SummerSlam is a pay-per-view that would be memorable for Cena. For one, this was where he lost the WWE title last year when he was dominated by Brock Lesnar. So, would it not be the perfect stage to try and reclaim the WWE title?

Assuming that it does materialize, what happens to the US title he currently holds? Will it be passed over or relinquished?

Apparently, such is one angle that doesn’t seem to fit into the storyline unless the two would face off with no title on the line or placing just one title on the line. In the case of the latter, it is likely be the WWE Heavyweight title will be put on the line.

Of course, this is getting a bit ahead of things since there are some who believe that aside from Cena, there are other WWE stars which could face Rollins for the title.

Dean Ambrose could suddenly enter the mix, a previous opponent of Rollins and a fan favorite who was sorely missed at WWE Battleground.

How about the WWE COO himself, Triple H? There were rumors before which claimed that Triple H and Rollins could face off in a feud though a confrontation between the two has yet to happen.

There are a lot of scenarios that can happen but the best bet is to wait which wrestler (or wrestlers) will feud with Rollins. Cena started it last week and another face off could probably set the tone.

If not, it could be someone else, not just Triple H or Dean Ambrose. Hence, keep an eye out on the next episode of WWE RAW.
