Fans of the long running "Elder Scrolls" video game franchise were left in the dark about the newest expansion after E3 2015. Game developer Bethesda Softworks commented that the main reason for this was because the company was busy with other projects such as "Fallout 4" and "Dishonored 2."

Masterherald has also gone on record saying that Bethesda was still in "deep development" on "Elder Scrolls 6" as to make sure that only the best quality of gameplay would be presented to the public. So where does that leave the avid gamer of the "Elder Scroll" franchise?

Vice president of Bethesda Softworks, Peter Hines, has stated that he aware of the reaction of the fans after no information was given for "Elder Scrolls 6" but he promises that the wait for a trailer or a playable demo will be worth the wait. "Bethesda Softworks has been well known for its quality over quantity for year now and fans of Elders Scrolls will be pleasantly surprised with what we have in store for them," says Hines.

This will probably mean that the release date for the game will be sometime next year. Vine Report states that with "Fallout 4" being one of the biggest games that Bethesda will be publishing this year it's unlikely that gamers will see another large game from the video game developer.

However, this hasn't stopped the rumors from flooding the internet about the game. Everything from the official title to the world in where the game will take place have been on the keyboards of gamers everywhere. Apparently, there has been some confusion about the official title of the game. Previous reports had been that the official name for "Elder Scrolls 6" would be "Argonia."

Meanwhile, newer reports claim that the official name for the game will be "Redguard." So far, there has been no official word form Bethesda which one is true or if either name will actually be used. Both names have however, been registered as a trademark by Bethesda which creates even more confusion amongst gamers.

While there hasn't been a lot of information surround "Elder Scrolls 6," Bethesda Softworks has been known for the quality of their games. With the exception of the latest release of "Elder Scroll Online," almost every release from Bethesda has been regarded as masterpieces. "Elder Scroll 5: Skyrim" was released in 2011 and quickly gained popularity and even won the RPG of the Year award from PC Gaming.
