After replacing Ariana Grande at the MLB All-Star Concert, many are assuming that Demi Lovato made a diss on the "Problem" singer.

According to E Online, Demi Lovato chose to sing her 2013 hit, "Made in the USA," during Saturday night's MLB All-Star Game concert. Many are suggesting that the song choice was a diss on Ariana Grande after her comment, "I hate Americans. I hate America."

Although some would think that it was just Demi choosing one of her past songs over promoting her new "Cool For Summer" single, others can't help but be reminded that Ariana Grande was originally the one scheduled to perform during the event.

MLB made it clear that the "Love Me Harder" singer was unable to commit to her engagement because she just had a wisdom tooth removed. However, the explanation did not stop some fans from thinking that Demi's song choice was specifically aimed at Ari.

"Didn't get to sing Made in the USA on the 4th because I was singing #COOLFORTHESUMMER. No shade - stop the bulls-t," Demi posted on her Twitter account only fueling rumors that it was a direct hit to Ariana.

According to Hollywood Life, Demi also tweeted the following message before she sang the patriotic song on stage. However, Demi denied that she was attacking Ariana during the concert.

"I know it's a little late but I didn't get to sing this song on the fourth. ALSO - I ALWAYS ask that when I sing a song. Can't y'all let a girl shine for one night? Smh," Demi posted.

Over the Fourth of July weekend, Ariana was caught on security camera while inside the donut shop in California. She was accompanied by two friends as well as her rumored new boyfriend, Ricky Alvarez. In the footage, Ari was seen licking the donuts that were left on the shelf while playfully looking at Alvarez. The singer was also caught planting a kiss on Alvarez who has worked with her closely as her backup dancer. At one point after a service person from the donut shop was away, Ari was heard saying "I hate Americans. I hate America."

Ariana apologized for her inappropriate comments and said that she is "extremely proud" to be an American.

"As an advocate for healthy eating, food is very important to me and I sometimes get upset by how freely we as Americans eat and consume things without giving any thought to the consequences that it has on our health and society as a whole. That being said let me once again apologize if I have offended anyone with my poor choice of words," she said in a statement.
