Finally, the Cleveland Cavaliers can heave a big sigh of relief after sources bare that Lebron James agreed to a new two-year deal worth $46.9 million.

James was never expected to leave the Cavaliers and the only reason for the holdout is that the athlete wanted to make sure that the team would bring back the key players from last season.
The fresh pact reportedly includes a player-option on the second year. It also allows James some flexibility with the expected increase in team salary caps. The contract is practically similar to the deal he signed in the last offseason.
There was never a doubt that James would re-sign with the Cavs from the beginning. Though he did opt out of his previous contract, it was obvious that the move was to make way for more money with a new deal. James never talked with any other teams as he was always expected to re-sign with the Cavs.
James was apparently holding up as he applied a wait-and-see approach. Apparently James was waiting on how the Cavs were preparing the team for next season, waiting for team owner Dan Gilbert and general manager to re-sign most of the supporting cast he worked with.
Atop the list is of course Kevin Love who likewise opted out of his last contract. Love had already agreed to return and will be set to receive $110 million spread over five years.
Other players were already dangled qualifying offers by the Cavs.
Iman Shumpert who already said that he was returning to the Cavs reportedly agreed to a $40 million contract for four years.
Other players expected to be re-signed include Matthew Delladedova, James Jones and Tristan Thompson. Russian center Timofey Mozgov is already onboard.
Jeremy Lin ends up being a Hornet
Jeremy Lin gets a new lease on life as the former Harvard University standout has reportedly come to terms to bring his at over at Charlotte, North Carolina.
Lin made the announcement via his Instagram account Wednesday.
According to sources, Lin agreed to a two-year deal worth $4.3 million. Lin is seen as someone who will be playing backup to starting point guard Kemba Walker where he will be leading the charge for the Hornets second team.
This development actually comes as a surprise with previous belief that the Dallas Mavericks had the inside track on acquiring the Asian American baller. Apparently the Hornets beat Mavs to him
With that development, the Mavs may have to skim the free agent market once again as they try to address their backcourt shortage. The Mavs only have JJ Barrea, Devin Harris and Raymond Felton in tow after the departure of Rajon Rondo (Sacramento Kings) and Monta Ellis (Indiana Pacers).
