Google recently unveiled a new Nexus smartphone, the LG Nexus 4. The smartphone seems to be getting good reviews with the major complaint being the phone's lack of LTE.

The LG Nexus 4 has a 4.7-inch screen with a 1280X768 resolution and a quad-core processor. The smartphone also has an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The LG Nexus 4 will be running Android 4.2 right out of the box, and you can expect this Google-branded handset to be first in line to receive the latest updates.

An unlocked LG Nexus 4 will cost $199.99 and the phone will release on November 13.

"The Nexus 4 is absolutely wonderful, but it's also vexing. Frustrating. Annoying. It's easily the best Android phone on the market right now, and has some of the most powerful software that's ever been put on a mobile phone. It's an upgrade from last year's Galaxy Nexus in every way. It's terrific - save for one small thing," said TheVerge. "In the US, a flagship phone without LTE is like a muscle car with no wheels."

CNET's LG Nexus 4 review titled "Elegant smartphone with a huge flaw" also points to the lack of LTE as the phone's main problem.

"The competitively priced LG Nexus 4 delivers a pure and polished experience with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean, it's powered by a snappy quad-core processor, and it's packed with new photo-editing and camera features," CNET said. "While the LG Nexus 4 wins on internal performance and user experience, anyone shopping for an unlocked phone should consider a comparable LTE handset first."

"Compared to the previous Galaxy Nexus, the build-quality is much better, consequently, the new Google phone is way more stylish than its predecessor," Ubergizmo said about the phone's design.

Concerning the smartphone's performance, SlashGear wrote, "No matter the app or the complexity of the webpage, the Nexus 4 whipped through with zero lag or delay. It's fast and responsive, and a great playing ground for the new version of Jelly Bean."

Despite the lack of LTE, are you going to pick up the LG Nexus 4?
