"The Walking Dead" has proven that it's one of the hottest shows on television today and that's good news. The bad news is that the audience never has a clue who is going to die next.
Over the weekend, "The Walking Dead" fans were on hype when its main cast hinted another death that could happen for its Season 6. The show was confirmed for another season that will premier later this year in October.
Michael Cudlitz, who plays as Abraham Ford in the series, posted a direct tweet to co-star Josh McDermitt, who plays as Eugene. According to Cleveland.com, Cudlitz tweeted McDermitt as a response to a post explaining why the actor was absent from Twitter in a while. Josh has been busy filming for the movie "Middle Man."
"Enjoy. I had a blast working with you," Cudlitz tweet read.
To make things even more suspicious, Cudlitz edited his original post to just "Enjoy" soon after fans reacted to his tweet. "The Walking Dead" fans are speculating that either Cudlitz or McDermitt will die in the next season.
According to Latin Times, Steven Yeun, who plays as Glenn Rhee in the show, also spoke about the possibility of his character dying.
"The way that we make the show - the writers and everybody really want to focus on making things poignant and purposeful and meaningful. So if it were time for Glenn to go, then it's probably going to be awesome," Yeun said.
After the finale episode of Season 5, showrunner Scott Gimple revealed a note in the "Talking Dead" after show. It's a show where "The Walking Dead" fans can further talk about the zombie apocalypse themed series.
"Season 6 for a good while now, humans have been the bigger threat. At the start of our next season, that will change. I said the show reinvents itself every 8 eps, and we're doing it again, friendos. Now that these characters know they have what it takes to survive, what are they going to do with that power? How will they choose to live? Beyond answering those questions, we're currently putting into motion some of our most ambitious stuff yet, and things are going to get very big, loud, and scary," the note read.
Although AMC revealed that "The Walking Dead" season 2 will be back in October, they didn't give an exact date. However, fans made an educated guess that if it will follow through its regular trend, it may premier as early as October 11.
