Some "Mass Effect" fans were hyped up recently after game producer Michael Gamble posted on Twitter a photo which may have looked like a teaser for the next installment.

Soon, fans swarmed the post with some comments like:

But Gamble replied with just, "@ellairajayd game? What game?"

And later, tweeted another one which says, "By the way...that's a real picture taken by a NASA astronaut. I think it's pretty fantastic."

One follower Òri (‏@andreBlomvkist) then replied: "@GambleMike Oh come on come on don't you do that to us."

And another one from Marshall Henderson ‏@RDAwesome which said: "@GambleMike It took you ten hours to write a follow-up tweet?!"

Gamble then replied saying, "@RDAwesome I was sleeping!"

A couple of minutes later, Gamble again tweeted: "But you guys are pretty awesome. Really"

Oops! Gamble really got some fans excited. But don't worry as Game Rant earlier reported that "Mass Effect 4" is expected to be showcased at the E3 2015 event this June, along other games such as "Star Wars Battlefront," "Madden NFL," and "FIFA." A trailer for the new game is also expected to come out during the event.

According to a Reddit post, "Mass Effect 4" would allegedly take place in a so called Helius Cluster which is described as "a cluster of 100s of solar systems in the Andromeda Galaxy...far removed by time and space from Commander Shepard's heroic acts and the final events of the Mass Effect trilogy."

The player will allegedly be a "pathfinder" who is out on an expedition in Helius cluster to make a new home for humans. During the trip, the main character would be "collecting resources and building colonies" while facing different types of alien races.

Video Gamer has reported that the new "Mass Effect" game installment would come out in the first quarter of 2016 citing an industry analyst from Wedbush Securities, Michael Pachter.

"EA's strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years...FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases 'Mass Effect 4', 'Mirror's Edge 2', a new 'Need For Speed' game, and 'Star Wars: Battlefront', as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15," Pachter was quoted as saying.
