WWE legend Scott Hall was reportedly removed from a wrestling event in New Jersey recently.

On May 16, 2015 at the Skate and Surf Music Festival in Asbury Park, New Jersey, fans and organizers were disappointed to find Hall allegedly fall off the wagon and get too wasted for the meet and greet activity.

TMZ Sports reported that the WWE Hall of Famer was physically escorted away from the weekend wrestling event after promoters discovered that that he was too high to sufficiently do his assigned tasks. He was then asked to leave the venue, but Hall allegedly refused and demanded to be paid for his appearance.

Ricky Otazu, the event promoter, told TMZ Sports, "The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order."

Security personnel had to be called to usher him out of the event.

Hall has been struggling with drug and alcohol abuse for many years. He collaborated with other wrestling stars in the past few years to attempt to quit the bad habit for good. TMZ insiders revealed that Hall was given many opportunities to clean up his act but failed to do so.

In 2012, Hall was arrested for allegedly choking his girlfriend while he was in a drunken rage. He was sentenced to 10 days in prison after being arrested for driving under the influence in 2010. In 2013, he worked with Diamond Dallas Page to try and quit drugs and alcohol for good. He managed to stay off the substances enough to be inducted by the WWE into the 2014 Hall of Fame. However, Hall would resort to his old vices then try to quit again in the following years, Cage Side Seats reported.

OnlineWorldOfWrestling wrote that Hall was best known during his time in WWF under the ring name "Razor Ramon." He battled and won against many WWE greats like Owen Hart, Jeff Jarrett, Yokozuna and Goldust. He was a four-time WWF Intercontinental Champion, a two-time world champion and a nine-time world tag team champion. He also joined the WWC, USWA and WCW. He last appeared at WrestleMania 31 with his son Cody and Hulk Hogan. Hall is currently 56 years old.
