UFC's Conor McGregor Says He Could Crush Floyd Mayweather in 30 Seconds; Dana White Agrees!

Aside from Manny Pacquiao, one other fighter claims that he can defeat Floyd Mayweather.

TMZ reported that UFC fighter Conor McGregor stated that he would annihilate the undefeated boxer in a real street fight in dominant fashion.

McGregor said, "I would kill him in less than thirty seconds."

In an interview with Esquire, McGregor revealed that he has no respect for athletes who only specialize in a single type of attack method, such as boxers.

He reportedly said, "I don't look at a man who's expert in one area as a specialist ... I look at him as a rookie in ten other areas. If you can box, what happens if I grab hold of your legs?"

He then proceeded to bash Mayweather, "If you put me face-to-face with Floyd Mayweather - pound-for-pound boxing's best -- if I fought Floyd, I would kill him in less than thirty seconds."

He continued, "It would take me less than thirty seconds to wrap around him like a boa constrictor and strangle him."

McGregor started his mixed martial arts career by kickboxing before deciding to move on to boxing. He later added jujitsu and mastered various locks and holds.

Based on the same TMZ report, McGregor is 26 years old, weighs 145 pounds and stands 5'9". Mayweather is 38 years old, weighs 151 pounds and stands 5'8".

Fansided reported that McGregor is currently preparing for his next fight against Jose Aldo at UFC 189 on July 11, 2015.

Furthermore, Mayweather's opponent at the historic bout on May 2, Manny Pacquiao, was also asked about his thoughts on a match featuring Mayweather versus UFC women's bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey.

Pacquiao replied, "I believe so, she is strong and is strong enough to beat Floyd Mayweather in MMA."

Fansided also reported that it may be true that Mayweather would not stand a chance against McGregor in the field of mixed martial arts. However, the same applies for McGregor if he would ever step inside a boxing ring with the champion. Conor might last longer than 30 seconds, but his chances of winning the dream boxing match are non-existent.

McGregor is the second fighter from Ireland signed by the UFC. He debuted in the Octagon on April 6, 2013 and has since garnered a lot of attention for his wild and eccentric ways. He last fought and won against Dennis Siver in January 2015 and immediately jumped off the fence to challenge UFC featherweight champ Jose Aldo.
