Manny Pacquiao is ready for his big walkout on May 2, when he faces Floyd Mayweather in the biggest boxing event of the century.

TMZ reported that the eight-division boxing champ featured a music video for his new song entitled "Lalaban Ako Para Sa Filipino" (I Fight for the Filipino People).

Based on a report by Hollywood Reporter, Pacquiao shared that he plans to use the song as his entrance music when he comes out from backstage and walks towards the ring on May 2.

The song can be described as very emotional and heartfelt, giving reference to the people of his native country and the struggles that they face as a third world nation.

SB Nation reported that a commenter on Facebook tried his best to translate the song's lyrics. Some of the words meant that Pacquiao was doing his best to make Filipinos proud and that all Pinoys, regardless of status, should fight together. The song also discussed virtues that his countrymen should have to attain their dreams and rise against trials, such as helpfulness, nationalism and courage. One line also translated, "I will fight the world with my life at stake."

In the video, Pacquiao is featured training and doing a variety of boxing drills as a crowd gathers around him. There are also montages of him singing in a studio complete with all the hi-tech devices, and scenes from various locations shot around the Philippines. Some of the parts may bring people to tears, showing a bloodied Pacquiao fighting in the ring, poor Filipinos on the streets, and the aftermath of a huge typhoon that destroyed many parts of the country. Other scenes were motivational, showing Pacquiao in dominant form, knocking out opponent after opponent and training with intensity in the gym.

The music video lasts four minutes and 16 seconds and was personally directed by the boxing champ, based on a report by NJ.com. Pacquiao is well-known for his love of music and singing, often celebrating his victories through live karaoke and singing at TV shows and concerts.

The big fight is less than three weeks away and both fighters are already hard at work preparing for the historic bout. The 36-year-old Pacquiao trained in Los Angeles, often seen jogging in parks, trails and sidewalks, while being joined by fans and fitness enthusiasts.

Daily Mail reported that there is no confirmation yet whether Mayweather has already chosen a song for his big walkout in May.
