One Direction member Louis Tomlinson is allegedly "furious" with former bandmate and friend Zayn Malik, a few days after the latter's exit. The news which comes from Hollywood Life revealed that Tomlinson is indeed harboring some beef against Malik.
"Louis is mad as hell. He thinks Zayn is acting like a real diva, making this all about himself. He's being selfish and Louis wants to call him out on it... Unfortunately, Louis thinks Zayn is acting like a coward hiding from them," an unidentified source allegedly told Hollywood Life.
As if Malik quitting the boy band was not hard enough for the group, it was also reported that Malik seems to be burning bridges already. The gossip site also revealed that the group is having a hard time contacting and connecting with Zayn and this really angers Tomlinson.
"Zayn has gone on his trip to France with Perrie [Edwards] and completely cut his bandmates off... He's not responding to phone calls, texts and emails. It feels like Zayn is just turning his back on them," said the anonymous source.
"Just because he's not in the band anymore doesn't mean they aren't still friends. But Zayn is acting like they are strangers... Zayn has checked out, so I doubt his behavior is intended to be a diss. He's just not too concerned about anyone but him and Perrie right now," the source was further quoted as saying.
Another report said that Harry Styles is also affected by Malik's behavior. A source revealed, "Harry especially feels like there are things to talk about and that Zayn is just turning his back on them. They considered themselves 'brothers,' and now Zayn is acting like they're strangers."
It can be recalled that Malik earlier announced that he will be leaving the band for good after his exit from the band's world tour. The singer had flown back to UK to recuperate from the stress he is facing following the cheating allegations that he got into.
"My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band. I'd like to apologise to the fans if I've let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right," Malik said in an official statement.
The remaining four band members - Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Styles - decided to continue to be in the group as a four-piece.
On a much lighter note, Styles meanwhile revealed to The Sun (via Hollywood Life) that they are already working on their fifth album. "It's very exciting to be working on our fifth album, it shows how incredible the fans have been. A huge thank you to them for everything they've done for us. All the love to them," Styles was quoted as saying.
"It's been a tough few weeks, probably the toughest since the band was formed five years ago. We're gutted that Zayn chose to leave, but now after a few performances as a four piece, we're feeling confident and are determined to carry on stronger than ever," Liam Payne added.
