Recent reports are saying that "Diamonds" singer Rihanna thinks that her former boyfriend could be a "good" and "remarkable" father for his daughter Royalty. The news comes from Hollywood Life which cited an unidentified source.
The "insider" told Hollywood Life that the 27-year old Barbadian singer believes that Chris Brown has the potential to become a good dad and even be good at everything he does.
"Rihanna loves kids. Adores them! She thinks Chris will be good at whatever he sets his mind to...She's seen him focused and at his best when he's concentrating on his music or rehearsing a dance. He's so focused in the moments," the anonymous insider was quoted as saying.
"If he gives Royalty the same attention, energy and love he does his music, that girl will have one remarkable father," the source added.
Despite this statement, the source said that Rihanna is glad that Chris Brown did not get her pregnant. "Rihanna is very happy that she never got pregnant by Chris...She feels bad that he has to deal with this baby situation but she is glad that this might finally wake him up and actually have him grow up and become a man," Hollywood Life's source said.
The first to broke the story about Chris Brown's baby was TMZ. The story came out on March 3. TMZ confirmed that Brown has a 9-month-old baby girl with 31-year-old former model named Nia Amey. TMZ also confirmed the baby's name as Royalty.
Another recent report from Hollywood Life said that now that Chris Brown's probation already ended, the singer would be taking a break to spend more time with her.
The entertainment news site said that baby Royalty is now the new probation officer of the singer. An unidentified source told the news outlet that the singer personally wants to experience changing his baby's diaper, combing her hair, and playing with her.
"He doesn't want to miss anymore moments...He loves his new boss and will be now doing everything in his power to keep her happy," the anonymous source added.
Another report from Hollywood Reporter said that the singer also wants to raise Royalty together with Nia because "he wants his daughter to be raised properly." The unidentified source further explained: "He knows from experience the hardships and heartache it can be without two parents in the same home and he doesn't want that for Royalty."
Hollywood Reporter said a source told them that Chris Brown is thinking of having Nia at his home but he is still pondering what would be their sleeping arrangements.
