Reality singing competition, X Factor, has found two new co-hosts for its fall season after adding two new judges this summer. E! News confirmed that 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' starlet Khloé Kardashian has been picked up for the female hosting gig on Monday. Extra! host Mario Lopez is also reported to have signed on as the second host.

According to E! News, Kardashian will be part replacement for last season's outgoing host Steve Jones, who got the axe along with judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger last January. The reality star has been rumored to be a frontrunner for the position for quite some time.

Simon Cowell, producer, creator and judge of the show, told reporters that he was looking for two hosts, a male and a female, to replace season one's Jones. Kardashian would be joining judges Cowell, LA Reid and new judges Britney Spears and Demi Lovato.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, a source said that Kardashian's friendship with judge Lovato helped seal the deal.

Lopez's involvement has yet to be confirmed but E! News reported it is close to being a done deal. Other male hosts in the running included Corbin Bleu, Kevin Jonas and Kevin McHale, according to Hollywood Reporter.

'X Factor' season two premiered on September 12 with pre-recorded audition episodes. According to Hollywood Reporter, Kardashian and her unnamed fellow host will appear later this fall during the live shows.

Neither star has confirmed their roles on the show and Fox has yet to issue a statement.
