Game Rant has reported that fans and gamers could expect an official video teaser for the upcoming "Star Wars: Battlefront" game to come out this April, following Electronic Arts' confirmation to attend this year's Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim on April 16-19.

The news outlet said since the game is expected to come out this December, coinciding with the upcoming "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" movie, it is only logical to think it would come out months before that. So, it is likely that a new trailer would come out next month. Should this not happen, we can expect a teaser during the upcoming E3 event or any other month before December, it added.

We have earlier reported, citing news site Gamepur, that a new video teaser for the game has recently been unveiled during the GDC 2015 event. However, it was only shown to selected people.

This information is somewhat backed by a tweet from EA CEO Peter Moore which said, "A GREAT show with my friends/partners @GameStop. Superb ovation for latest game play footage on @starwars Battlefront." In that tweet, we also see a photo of him on stage with some Troopers and Rebel forces as escorts.

Previously, we cited Christian Post and Tech Times saying that the game would indeed come out this December. Plus, Sony has already confirmed that the "Star Wars: Battlefront" game would be available to its PS4 gamers anytime soon though it is still unclear when's the exact launch date.

EA's Patrick Soderlund was earlier quoted in a Eurogamer report claiming that the new game came out from EA Digital Illusions CE's (DICE) own interpretation. "This is DICE's interpretation of what Battlefront should be...That's the best description you can have. There are absolutely things in the previous Battlefront games that you'll recognize and remember, but DICE wants to put its own flavor on it. That's the only way we can do it. Hence it's called Star Wars: Battlefront, without a 3 at the end. We want to say it's something new...But again, it's going to be very Star Wars and very cool," to quote Soderlund.

It is said that gamers of this new game would be able to choose whether to act as a first person or third person shooter. It is also said that the game would use the Battlelog service from "Battlefield 4. There are also speculations that "Community Map Project" would be integrated into the game.
