International markets have already had the luxury of having the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 hit their shelves while Americans are still waiting for the massive, yet anticipated phablet to roll out across carriers. But the wait won't be that long - Sprint has just sent out a press release that states they will be launching the Galaxy Note 2 on October 25 for $299.99

"Manufactured by Samsung Telecommunications America, LLC (Samsung Mobile), the No.1 mobile phone provider in the United States, Galaxy Note II will boast several firsts for Sprint - first to launch with AndroidTM 4.1.1, Jelly Bean; first smartphone display larger than 5 inches; and first device to launch with a quad-core processor," reads the Sprint press release

Sprint will be offering the Galaxy Note 2 in Titanium Gray and Marble White.

Other carriers that should see the handset soon as well. Carrier U.S. Cellular started taking online-only pre-orders earlier this month with an estimated shipping date of "by the end of October" and a price of $299.99. The price, just like Sprint's, is with the caveat of a standard two-year contract.

A leaked T-Mobile internal document that TMONews found lists the Galaxy Note 2 under "Product Launches" with a launch date of October 24.

Verizon and AT&T will also be offering the Galaxy Note 2, bringing the total number of carriers to five - the same five that helped launch the Samsung Galaxy S3

Samsung is holding a U.S. Galaxy Note 2 launch event in New York on October 24, and from the looks of it, the handset will be making its way across carriers pretty fast.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 will have a 5.55-inch HD Super AMOLED display and a 1.6GHz quad-core processor. With an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, the handset will also be 4G LTE capable, meaning you can expect this to be one of the most powerful smartphones you can pick up in the United States. The Galaxy Note 2 will also ship with the S Pen stylus and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean right out of the box.
