A video teaser for the upcoming game "Star Wars: Battlefront 3" has recently been unveiled! Gamepur reported that selected people have already seen some of the "Star Wars: Battlefront" gameplay during the GDC 2015 event this month.

The news outlet said the viewing was done by EA and DICE behind closed doors with only select partners as witness. However, it was able to get some details about the reaction of people in the audience. It said the game trailer earned a "standing ovation" from the audience.

This is somehow supported by a tweet from EA CEO Peter Moore which said, "A GREAT show with my friends/partners @GameStop. Superb ovation for latest game play footage on @starwars Battlefront." The said tweet is even accompanied a photo of him being escorted by some Troopers and Rebel forces.

Gamepur said this may suggest that fans could be able to see this new gameplay trailer during the E3 event this June.

Here are more tweets from Moore:

Gameranx said these statements from Moore could suggest their "confidence" about the game's progress and that they are on track of their planned release date.

Christian Post earlier reported that the new game would come out this December and would likely coincide with the release of the much awaited movie "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens."

EA's Patrick Soderlund was quoted by Eurogamer that the new game would be EA Digital Illusions CE's (DICE) own interpretation.

"This is DICE's interpretation of what Battlefront should be...That's the best description you can have. There are absolutely things in the previous Battlefront games that you'll recognize and remember, but DICE wants to put its own flavor on it. That's the only way we can do it. Hence it's called Star Wars: Battlefront, without a 3 at the end. We want to say it's something new...But again, it's going to be very Star Wars and very cool," to further quote Soderlund.

"Star Wars: Battlefront", says Venture Capital Post, would cover the seven "Star Wars" movies -- from "The Phantom Menace" to "The Force Awakens." It is also said to be the "most expensive" Star Wars game in history.

In the new game, players can whether use the first person or third person shooter. Expert Reviews also said that "Star Wars: Battlefront" will use the Battlelog service from "Battlefield 4."
