Phone Arena has reported that there have been hints showing that the rumored LG G4 would come out with the latest Lollipop update in it.

In its report, it cited a leaked photo showing an alleged listing that revealed that an LG phone with model number LG-H818, expected to be the next LG flagship phone G4, would be released with the 5.1 Lollipop version in it.

In a separate report, Phone Arena detailed that the LG device with model number LG-H818 would get 1440 x 2560 screen resolution and that the particular model would be released in the Asian market. The news outlet also revealed other LG G4 model numbers -- LG-H810 for the AT&T version, LG-LS991 for the Sprint version, LG-VS999 for Verizon.

As of press time, the 5.1 Lollipop version is already rolling out on Android One phones in Indonesia and the Philippines. Plus there are also reports that it would be rolling out on some Motorola devices and many of Nexus handsets.

The 5.1 Lollipop version is said to improve the system's performance and fix some bugs. It is also believed to provide something new in the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth toggles in the Quick Settings. The new Lollipop update version is also expected to bring new clock animations and an upgraded screen pinning. It is also said to fix problems and issues with wireless connections, OK Google function, Notifications, sounds, and even sudden app closures. It is also expected to improve RAM and battery management.

The new LG G4 is expected to come out next month, according to Korea Times. In its report, it cited LG mobile division chief Cho Juno who said that that the new device would be "radically different" from its predecessor due to some changes particularly in its design.

"I believe our G4 will also be good. With higher expectations, LG put huge resources into the LG G4...We are aiming to become the world's third-largest smartphone manufacturer this year in terms of annual sales. LG Electronics will be aggressive in promoting the G4 in major target markets such as Korea and the United States," Juno was quoted as saying. The LG official also revealed that the Korean electronics giant is working on new processors to be used on its future mobile devices.

As for specs, the new LG device is expected to be a 5.7 incher HD display phone that has a screen resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. Some of the features it is seen to get are a 16-megapixel main camera and a 5.1-megapixel selfie shooter. It is also said to get an upgraded RAM of 4GB.
