Mexico has already secured passage to the "hexagonal" stage of the World Cup 2014 Qualifiers. But they still have two more matches to play to define themselves as the top team in the CONCACAF.

The first of these two matches will be a tilt with Guyana. When Mexico first took them on, they exercised a 3-1 win. However, they were unconvincing in the win and let the opponents march back into the game off an own goal. They have since look better. A 2-1 win over El Salvador was far from perfect but showed the team as a dangerous offensive threat. The following two matches against Costa Rica showed Mexico at their best as an offensive threat with a solid defense. Even Javier Hernandez, who has had a nightmare season for Manchester United, scored and looked like a threat on the Mexican side.

With 12 points, no other team can catch them for the top seed in the group. But that does not mean that Mexico will take this lightly. They will play a Guyana side who despite only having one point, is still in this competition. The fact that they will be at home could add to their drive to win. After their match with Mexico they take on Costa Rica and two wins coupled with a draw between Costa Rica and El Salvador and a Mexican win over El Salvador would put them through to the next round.

This match should be compelling as one team competes to save its life while the superior one tries to maintain their dominance.

Prediciton: Mexico will win this easily despite Guyana playing their best soccer. 3-0.
