It has been confirmed that BioWare is developing a multiplayer mode for "Mass Effect 4," IBTimes reported.

The game developer did not directly announce this new feature. However, a new job listing in the company suggested their need for people who can focus on this feature of the game.

Aditya Bhat from IBTimes has reported that the job post "does more to confirm a feature that was only speculated until now."

BioWare's Senior Development Director Chris Wynn posted this job listing on his Twitter account saying, "Things are getting real now and I need an excellent Producer to come shape online for the next Mass Effect."

From the looks of it, Wynn was not keeping this information confidential. However, this might have implied a negative impression on the fans as one of them mentioned this was a "very bad idea."

Twitter user @allazeeroler, stated, "seriously, i don't think it's a good idea to add online mode to mass effect 4... everyone don't WANT online feature for that serie [sic]."

This was the same theme in the comment section. Users have addressed that they do not want to be "forced" to play the game online.

Even though Wynn's job post is somehow vague, not really indicating the possibility of a multiplayer version, the French job post is clearer and detailed.

The job post entitled, "BIOWARE MONTREAL PRODUCTEUR EN LIGNE \ ONLINE PRODUCER," was translated by Polygon. According to the site, the post reads: "Create and champion the vision of the multi-player, connected experiences and online features of the game which respects the project leadership goals and be accountable for the quality targets and the results achieved."

It is very possible for BioWare to include a multiplayer mode as previous reports suggested the company is looking to expand "Mass Effect's" reach.

With about 200 developers working simultaneously for the game, Aaryn Flynn, BioWare's Edmonton and Montreal studios' general manager said they are looking to use "some" technology incorporated in "Dragon Age: Inquisition," a BioWare-produced game which is highly acclaimed by the fans and the critics, according to IBTimes.

Last year, BioWare has not been generous in providing details for "Mass Effect." They just said that they are focusing on exploring the game, but they reassured Mako will return.

BioWare announced their development plans for "Mass Effect 4" in 2012. The company said the new title in the franchise could be considered as "disservice" since they will no longer follow Commander Shepard's storyline.
