Manchester United suffered a historic defeat last week on home turf at the hands of Tottenham Hotspurs. With the loss they dropped four points behind first place Chelsea and now have some serious ground to cover as the leaders play a dreadful Norwich squad.

For Man U, it will be Newcastle, a squad who has 9 points in their six matches. They are coming off a 309 win over Bordeaux in the Europa League and a 2-2 Draw to Reading. Demba Ba has been stead for the squad and currently has six goals in as many games. Thye have allowed 8 goals in their six games, but this looks great considering Man U's 9 goals against thus far.

Man U must be excited to see their new piece Robin Van persie playing at such a high level. But what is more important is that fact that he looked brilliant playing with Wayne Rooney in the UCL match. Van Persie scored twice against Cluj-Napoca and Rooney was the catalyst on both; expect more of that in the match against New Castle.

Sir Alex Ferguson went with David de Gea on Tuesday so it is possible that Anders Lindegaard gets the start on Saturday.

Prediction: Manchester takes this easily 4-0.
