Recent rumors are saying that the much-awaited trailer of the "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" movie will be released during the Super Bowl XLIX this Sunday. Cinema Blend, in its report citing Comic Book, said that the trailer is eyed to show up during the championship game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.

Although Comic Book admits that it is not sure whether the trailer of the much talked about movie would really be released during the game, it noted that a promotion on that big event would indeed be a sign tht Warner Bros. is really taking its rivalry with Marvel seriously.

110 million people watched the Super Bowl XLVIII last year so it would definitely be a good strategy to show it off in this kind of event. Plus, releasing a teaser more than a year before a movie's official premiere is not entirely new especially with comic films, Cinema Blend says.

Another report from Cinema Blend earlier said that the first video footage for the much-awaited movie is set to be unveiled during the Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis film "Jupiter Ascending" this February 6. It even cited a table provided by The Projection List. The table also revealed that a teaser trailer for the film is also expected to be screened in other films like "In the Heart of the Sea," "Furious 7," and "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

Meanwhile, a much earlier report from iDigital Times said that the trailer for the movie will be unveiled during the premiere of the "Mad Max: Fury Road" movie this May 15. All of these predictions remain as rumors as no announcement or confirmation has been made by Warner Bros.

Last December, it has been reported that the trailer of the movie was leaked online. Although the video allegedly uploaded on 4chan can no longer be found on the Internet, Movie Pilot gave a glimpse of what has been seen in the leaked trailer. It said that the video starts with a scene from the "Man of Steel" wherein it showed the destruction that took place in the metropolis. It noted that it was Batman or Bruce Wayne, which is played by Ben Affleck, who is narrating in the video. Batman airs his doubts on the intentions of Superman, played by Henry Cavill. He then promises to find out if Superman is there to save or destroy people.

Aside from Affleck and Cavill, the movie cast also includes Diane Lane, Gal Gadot, Holly Hunter, Jason Momoa, Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg, Laurence Fishburne, and Ray Fisher, Screen Rant said. Jason Momoa is allegedly playing the role of Arthur Curry and Aquaman while Jesse Eisenberg is said to be Lex Luthor. "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" is written by Chris Terrio and David S. Goyer. It will hit the theaters on March 25, 2016.
