The CW's 'Gossip Girl' returns for its final season on October 8 and will reunite all your favorite Upper East Siders.
'Gossip Girl,' which will return for just 10 last episodes, will find Chuck (Ed Westwick) and Blair (Leighton Meester) exactly where fans last left them in Monaco. E! Online revealed that the dysfunctional couple will start the season by heating things up in a hotel room. Although the pair split up-physically-the new season will find them better then ever. An engagement ring even comes to play, E! Online reported.
During the season premiere the gang will reunited to find Serena (Blake Lively), who once again has disappeared. Blair, Chuck, Nate and (Chase Crawford) team up to look for her and end up finding that she's doing better than expected. According to E! Online, when the group catches up to S, or Sabrina as she goes by, they find her happily together with a serious and successful boyfriend (played by Barry Watson).
Blair will also have to deal with Dan (Penn Badgley), who she hasn't spoken to all summer after she kicked him to the curb. Fans will also see Dan get some help from Georgina (Michelle Tratchenberg) when he get stuck writing the ending of his tell-all second novel, E! Online reported. Georgina encourages Dan and tells him, "Real names...no holding back."
New and old faces will also make an appearance during the final season. TV Line reported that fans will find that Dan has gotten over his relationship with Diana (Elizabeth Hurley) and will be rebounding with Sage (Sofia Black-D'Elia), who may have a connection to Serena's new boyfriend. TV Line also reported that Nelly Yuki (Yin Chang) will also be making an appearance.
The final season of 'Gossip Girl' premieres on October 8 at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
